I'm addicted to working out. My social calendar revolves around my class schedules at either Equinox or Flywheel Sports. Anytime my fitness apparel is on point and I look and feel my best, I push myself to a much harder workout and test my strengths and limits at the gym. Same applies when my hair is in a sleek ponytail or chic bun. Lately I've been sporting Houston from the City Chic Collection during my sweat drenching workouts. The spikes allow me to tackle my most rigorous training session. Yes, I can power up on my Torq and yes, I can go deeper on my squats. Bad hair days?! No one has time for that!
"Putting on a flattering outfit motivates people to actually go to the gym or to exercise outdoors in public," says performance coach Larina Kase, PsyD, MBA, president of Performance and Success Coaching LLC in Philadelphia.
