December can leave us feeling bloated and puffy. The holiday parties, office goodie snacks, along with the flavored lattes at the local coffee shop can take a toll on our bodies and steer us away from our regular routines. Here’s what you need to do to reset and detox during the holidays.

Drinking green, ginger or dandelion root tea along with plenty of lemon water throughout the day will help flush out toxins from you body.

Healthy Snacking
For your mid afternoon pick-me-up, snack on fresh fruits and vegetables which are high in fiber and easy to digest. Cantaloupe and strawberries are better choices because they contain potassium which counteract bloating sodium, according to Dietitian Lauren Slayton.

If your calendar is full for the month of December, don’t forget to schedule your workouts too. It is important to move your body and maintain your normal routine during the holiday season. Try to workout at least three days a week to feel less bloated and maintain your energy levels.

Pamper Yourself
A hydrating algae mask or a nourishing charcoal mask will revitalize your skin and give you a healthy glow. Add cucumbers on your eyes to relieve puffiness and brighten your skin.
